On December 9th, many hundreds of Russian-speaking religious families gathered at a festive evening organized by Toldos Yeshurun.

These events have already become a tradition - they take place every Chanukah. But this time, the style was different.
The theme of the evening was the Jewish Family. This was the topic in the speeches of one of the greatest Torah leaders of our generation, Rav Moshe Shapiro shlit"a, and Rav Ben Tzion Zilber shlit"a, the spiritual leader of Toldos Yeshurun, who addressed the men. Rebbetzin Chava Kuperman, Rav Asher Kushnir, and Rebbetzin Tziporah Haritan spoke to women on this topic.
But words were not the main thing. The largest of four halls was designated for the children, where a group of clowns - our compatriots of now and then - performed for them. The only slight shadow on the evening was that the organizators did not anticipate the amount of attendees, and there were not enough "pekalach" - packages with candy and sweets - for every child.
Due to the difficult financial situation, Toldos Yeshurun did not hire a professional photographer and video operator. We are publicizing photographs and a video clip made by amateur guests at the event.
