Fortunately, many Bucharian Jews are involved in Jewish activities, and many large organizations deal with Bucharian Jewry consolidation.
Among the heads of these organizations are former fellow countrymen of Rabbi Yitzchak Zilber from Tashkent, Rabbi Shmuel Alishaev and famous businessman Mr. Levy Levaev.
According to the instructions of Rabbi Yitzchak Zilber, Toldos Yeshurun does not differentiate between Ashkenazi, Bucharian or Caucasian Jews in its program of Jewish life development in Israeli communities. Consequently we also assist Bucharian communities, for example Rabbi Malkiel Yitzchakov (050-7809236) in Tel Aviv (Tel Kabir) and Rabbi Refael Yakubov (052-3800322) in Jerusalem (Central Neve Yaakov).
